Café
Beautiful and traditional café. A real Vienna feeling at the Rhein. Cakes all homemade, sweet 'n tasty.
I have the feeling that locals and regular customers are well served. As a non-resident who has already been there a few times, it was nothing special, I didn't really feel welcome. The service wasn't exactly unfriendly, but since I work as a waiter myself, I know what could be done better, and I think the potential is there! Sometimes you had to wait a long time, even with very few guests. A little older inside and some decorations scared me a bit. Food and cake were actually normal. A bit of a shame that we don't learn from other Google reviews. Would like to give more stars, but the performance is not enough.
Very familiar, good homemade cakes.
Very nice and accommodating staff, extra wishes for a birthday were lovingly implemented and the huge selection of cakes tasted excellent! It was like a little excursion in grandma's time 🥰
Delicious coffee and cake. Cozy ambience. Staff very unfriendly
Pity! It looks like it used to be a great cafe. Unfortunately now a bit neglected. The furniture and decorations were dusty and half of the lighting was broken. When asked, we kindly pointed out to the waitress that the cream puffs were very hard. Your answer "Are just cream puffs" and "I have no idea, I haven't tried them" unfortunately went well with the overall impression.
A romantic coffee house with really delicious cakes and very good coffee. Inside top romantically furnished. Enough parking spaces. With different areas to sit. I can recommend it as an insider tip.
Cafe with terrace trimmed for a Viennese coffee house. Cake ok, coffee too.
Not recommendable. Dirty dishes and cakes didn't blow us away either, but the lack of value for money. Corona list in the form of a post-it note !!! Without words
Very impolite! You rarely experience something like this. The waitress has absolutely no idea what service means. Fortunately, we immediately canceled our order and left. When going out there was even scolded afterwards instead of apologizing. Now all that's missing is that Corona is again to blame.
The cakes were average good. No need to come back. The interior is very extraordinary. If you want a Viennese coffee house, please always serve a glass of water.
Very nice café with a Viennese ambience - you don't expect it in the Rheingau.
Staff very nice. Coffee and cake miserable.
Low quality, not clean, and definitely disappointing
Dirty and old-fashioned. The cake was very dry, cappuccino was not cappuccino and very small.
Shameless service. I ordered a large apple wine straight without looking at the menu. I was then brought a white wine spritzer. I could have said something, but because I was thirsty from hiking, I drank it and wanted to move on quickly. I was told the amount of € 5, which felt like a lot, but I paid and wanted to leave. Outside, I looked at the menu again and found that a wine spritzer actually only costs € 2.20. Faced with this, the waitress insisted on the 5 €. This coffeehouse is only not advisable.
Super furnished, like at Grandma's earlier, memories are awakened. 🍰🎂🤗Cake class 👍
Charming terrace. Fast service. Good strudel. You would love to come back there.
The interiors are antique and extremely homely. There are even comfortable sofas here. But right now you should sit outside, and unfortunately the road is close. Nevertheless recommendable, the range of cakes is special.
Nice terrace and winter garden, but the rest of the interior, including the service (owner?), Is a bit more neat, corresponding to a Viennese coffee house. Cappuccino was not really hot and the cake (strawberry cake and apple pie) was nothing special. The selection of cakes was also extremely clear.
And we really enjoyed it here: we were sitting very nicely on the terrace, there was an extensive selection of specialty coffees - our three were delicious. Conclusion: gladly again at any time.
Quasi second living room and just as cozy :-) Everything is right here: friendly service, atmospheric ambience with extraordinary, nostalgic furnishings in the rear guest room, which offers a lot to look at and marvel at. And last but not least, of course, the incredibly delicious, homemade cakes and tarts. My husband swears by the apple strudel, which is actually the best far and wide, but I like to try my hand at the changing offer, which also offers seasonal highlights such as. Onion and plum cake (an absolute dream!).
Best service, coffee, deserts and super friendly staff
Vienna Style coffee house. Loved the inside seating today. Excellent service and quality. Get your Sunday Coffee and Cake habit on here for sure!
I just read the owner's response to one of the comments below and definitely decided not to try this place. I'll pass.
Good coffee to drink with my friend Mozart
Lovely
Passed by this place based on a recommendation. Honestly the flair is quiet charming, but thats about where is ends. I would say that the cakes where not fresh and not quiet the taste you would expect from a coffee house, they tasted like a store bought convenience cake, maybe am wrong but i have had many many better cakes than that and also for a better price. The banana milk i ordered was just from the bottle and didnt hit the spot too so honestly i wouldnt go back here, its not worth the money you are paying, am sure there are better places around that area to have a good coffee and cake experience.
Old school...
